Ken Bagwell brings over two decades of diverse legal experience and a practical, solution-focused approach to his work at Bagwell Law, PLLC. Since beginning his legal career in 2002, Ken has developed deep roots in the Kitsap County legal community, starting as a deputy prosecutor with the Kitsap County Prosecutor’s Office before transitioning to the Bremerton City Attorney’s Office as an Assistant City Attorney.

Drawing from his extensive background in public service, Ken established his private practice in 2010.  Since starting in private practice, Ken has spent his time building a reputation for thoughtful, comprehensive legal counsel. His practice areas include real estate and property matters, estate planning, contract disputes, business formation and litigation, and general civil litigation. Ken has developed particular expertise in municipal law, serving as trusted counsel to many municipal entities throughout the state.

Known for his ability to see the big picture, Ken excels at developing practical solutions to complex legal challenges. His approach combines thorough legal analysis with a keen understanding of his clients’ broader objectives, ensuring outcomes that serve both immediate needs and long-term goals.

Beyond his legal practice, Ken is deeply invested in the local community, serving as President of Kitsap Fair and Stampede, where he helps organize the beloved annual Kitsap Fair and Stampede.  He has served on several other boards including Leadership Kitsap and the Harrison Hospital Foundation Board. When not practicing law or contributing to community events, Ken enjoys spending time hunting with his dogs Hammer and Steele, fishing, and golfing.  Most importantly, though, is the time that he gets to spend with his wife and three daughters.

Alysa Grimes

Alysa Grimes brings a diverse legal background and small-town values to her practice at Bagwell Law, PLLC. Originally from Moline, Illinois, Alysa earned her bachelor’s degree from Western Illinois University before relocating to Las Vegas, Nevada, where she attended the William S. Boyd School of Law at UNLV, graduating in 2018.

Her legal career began with distinguished clerkships at both the Nevada Court of Appeals, under the Honorable Judge Bonnie A. Bulla, and the Nevada Supreme Court, under the Honorable Justice Abbi Silver. These experiences provided her with valuable insights into complex legal analysis and judicial decision-making processes.

Following her clerkships, Alysa worked as an associate attorney at Kemp Jones, LP, where she focused on complex civil litigation, including business disputes, class actions, and personal injury cases. Now at Bagwell Law, PLLC, she applies her litigation experience to serve clients in estate planning, landlord/tenant matters, real estate transactions, contract disputes, and general civil litigation.

Deeply committed to community service, Alysa serves on multiple boards in Kitsap County, including the United Way of Kitsap County and the Greater Kitsap Chamber. She also serves as secretary for both the Kitsap Tennis and Athletic Center board of directors and the Kitsap County Bar Association, demonstrating her dedication to both professional excellence and community involvement.

Alysa and her husband, an Air Force veteran, chose to make Kitsap County their home to be closer to family and return to the community-focused lifestyle they both cherished growing up. When not serving her clients, Alysa enjoys the natural beauty and close-knit community of the Pacific Northwest—a welcome change from the Nevada desert.
